Ambers room

 I did have some before picture's  but I lost them in a computer crash, which is a shame as this room is a real transformation from what it was, but I will write what it was and maybe you can see it. Amber and I made and did all the work ourselves

The floor was like office carpet in a shade of brown,speckled with white wash what hadn't gone on the walls, and the walls were painted with what looked like thin white wash so all of the marks underneath could be seen the door and frames were all in a dark brown shade we first painted the wall behind the bed red and then the rest of the walls an off white colour,  then we laid the laminate and then built the furniture which all came from IKEA, the huge picture of the panthers above the bed was a present from Anniena and Olga for Ambers 13th Birthday and the fans from me we had seen them in a Chinese restaurant in Enschede and liked the look. The pillow cases all Chinese again came from an oriental shop from Enschede. The bed spread was from Leon Bakker, The curtains I made my self with material bought from a local market, they are a little  thicker than net curtains, you dont need long curtains here as the blind from the outside are pulled down in the really hot weather to make the room cool and the cold weather it makes the room warm keeps the heat in.
