Grand Champion Mewsos Paper Back Writer

Well where do I start.. of all cats this boy is my absolute favourite.. I would sell my soul to make him imortal....

I had lost my blue boy Morgan, one I purchased from the same breeder at a tender age of 15 months from a mega heart attack, people said I was stupid going back to the same breeder, but I said I would look for a different line and this is what I did

I met Bart on the day that he was born, his breeder, tried to sway me as he was growing,  towards another cream boy... but no this boy was the one I wanted,  he was strippy and funny shaped, but something in me wanted him.. his breeder was about to name the litter  and she asked me which name I wanted? she was using the song of the beatles, and I chose Paper Back writer, His pet name Bart was given to him by the breeders son... and he looked like a Bart.. so it stuck. we visited this kitten weekly until we finally came to take him home..

Bart was made up to a Grand Champion at the age of 16 months he even had his own fan club that used to come and say hello when he was at a show.. he had so many red card days I lost count... he won so many prizes... and so many cups...

Bart was a young starter he started spraying in the house at just 6 months and had mated a girl by the time he was 7 months old it broke my heart when he finally after I couldn't stand the smell anymore, put him outside... Bart never liked being on his own and it was awful to watch him look for me, when I was in the garden, I used to let him wander the garden with me until one day he met my old Moggie Toby and near killed her in an unprovoked attack... that stopped his wandering, but he was always a gentleman and he would never dream of mating a girl when I was around, that just was the done thing... but he was not a nice stud boy either, he would mate the girls as many times as he could but the minute he lost interest they had to be removed for their own safety...

Bart has a fascination for water if you go near him with the hose pipe or wash his tail he loves it he is also very much like a dog if you ask for his paw at nail cutting times he will give it to you... he is such a hunk...

Bart is now of course neutered, his children are  still here dotted here and there, only one boy had his temperament and that was Krunchie... the hunky chunk in Canada another boy I wish now I had never let go. but  he has a wonderful home so how could I regret it..

I have had other cats off the breeder of Bart but they have despite being similar mating, not had  his wonderful temperament..

Bart is here with us now and will remain here  with us one day hopefully he will stop spraying... he hasn't ... we know we have tried, and he can once again sleep in my bed...

The Krunch, was a mating between the Bart and  Gypsy, I had mated these two together before and got a wonderful Chocolate TICA Ch Badsworth Simply D Best, now living in Austria.. and he was stunning just the wrong blood group... so I tried the mating again, and the result was the krunch..... but  krunchie didn't like the ladies... he mated one girl and then that was it he wouldn't do it again... so we had to make a very had decision and it had to be that special special home... and so he was neutered...

I had been in touch for many months with a wonderful lady called Janet who lived in Canada and was a member of the Bart fan club... she had lost her own cream boy sadly and she was looking for another cat to make her complete... and I offered her the Krunch.... and she decided that the Krunch, being the son of Bart was the one for her.... and so off he went to the vets to have his vaccinations and his paperwork checked and then on to a flight for 9 and a half hours to Canada...

when he arrived he was very jet lagged but a typical Krunch came out of his carrier at  customs and give a big purry hug to his new Mom... who phoned me at 4am... in the morning to tell me... and since then well he has never looked back. he has a wonderful home with  wonderful Owners David and JANET..... a mad parrot and the life of Riley... she has considered other kitty kats we have had when she been a lookin but after discussion with the Krunch she has had to change her mind Krunch is not for having it thank you very much... it was a tough one but the right one... me thinks... just wish I had packed up Bart and Amber and jumped in the box......would have had the best life ever...

Badsworth Lucretius

Rupert was never meant to stay  here he had been sold to a gentleman with a friend Maggie, a blue and white bicolour from Tamsin and Bart, within 2 days he was back the man said that he could not afford to feed him he had never seen a cat eat like him... and I said that a cinnamon for you they are hard to get going but once they do they keep on going.

so Rupert he had been named and Rupert he stayed, he was shown and gained his 4 merits quickly and many judges that had him under them said he was one of the best Cinnamons around rupert had a sound coat to the roots which was crisp to the touch and a rich cinnamon colour, he has passed a lot of this on to his son Lucius, but Lucius in my opinion although wonderful is not as good as his dad.

Rupert went on to live in Scotland with George gow were he fathered a wonderful Cinnamon Tabby female the very first bred.

and also a Chocolate Tabby female carrying cinnamon who lives here with us her name is Pheonix and you can see her on the girls page
