Amber has had a very eventful week, she has hurt here ear playing basketball.. has a black eye with playing softball.. fell down a flight of stairs havent a clue what she did there... then twisted her ankle in the supermarket today.. she needs to be wrapped in plastic to protect her self....  her sports teacher says Amber need to have a helmet... bubble wrap would be better..

The Abyssinian kittens are doing well they are now eating 4 LARGE meals a day didn't take them long to catch on..

Eowyn's kittens are so lush!! the Lilac tabby and spotted are so absolutely cute... wont be able to decide which one of these kittens I will be keeping back..

Red boy Pete went off to his new home he is now named Taz and will share his home with another Badsworth British Shorthair blue and white Bi colour Jae!!

The extension for the boys is now done.. they now have their 9 foot run... mind only Jack and Artemis will use it Frodo Jet and link... well they just dont run around no more!!!

30th Augustus 2008

Mick's last baby boy will hopefully be leaving us on Sunday we will miss him..

Nefertiti has completely run out of milk, and the kittens were still not eating... so have had to resort to hand feeding them every 4 hours with milk went to the supermarket and filled my trolley with goodies.... everything I thought would make them eat.. got something they liked today after several attempts... tuna... so a few mls of milk then they tucked in. Tequila is now the surrogate mother... and boy does she like to boss them around... its good fun watching. hopefully they will continue eating!!

Eowyn's Kittens continue to grow... she is doing a good job...

Did take some photos... but decided not to put them on... except the Chocolate girl... they all looked like they where drunk cause we woke them up so hopefully some nicer ones later in the week Eowyn permitting...

Have done a bit of work in the house... pictures soon... Hopefully garden this weekend... the weather is supposed to be nice..

We have had guests this weekend but  I just could not sleep so here I am updating... as you can see the site is having a revamp... still got a few pages to go yet... One of Mick's Red kittens is still looking for a home... he is such a sweet boy.... ready to go now..

The Abyssinians are growing up fast they are using the tray now... but not eating so well.. on their own yet see here the pictures of one of out trials

Eowyn's kittens so far so good she is really looking after them as always.. they are starting now to open their eyes, so funny to see them shuffling around the box.

Amber and I have done a little more work in the garden today Frodo decided he was helping... or hindering as the case was... click on the picture below to check... our progress

Red boy keeper of the peace, has gone off to his new home in Belgium with Jan he will live with another British Lilac boy.

Today was a nice day so we decided to let the Abyssinians out for a little while out side in the play pen it was very entertaining watching them

Eowyn also had to move from the birthing pen in to a larger pen the kittens are growing so big and there was not much room for her... she was not impressed with the move but she accepted it in the end..

Amber and I went shopping to the Garden centre yesterday to get some plants for the garden...

Today Sunday we moved the boys pens over a little so that we can put on the next attachment, flags will be bought this week for the floor then the runs will be extended.. so as the day was so beautifully sunny we set to and started the garden....

Eowyn's kittens are all doing fine.. they are all still very healthy still unsure of what sex they are but we will next week... we have it appears 1 chocolate tabby 1 Chocolate self , 4 lilacs... one or two could be tabby's.. (she just wont let us look). and one Fawn....

Nefertiti kittens are now growing in to mischief they will be moved with mum tomorrow to an play pen to give them more room and nefertiti a bit more space on her own... as she can move out of their way in the pen..

The M litter from Eowyn and Marshall has just been born 7 in total Chocolate, Chocolate Tabby,  Lilac, Lilac Tabby and Fawn   mum and kittens doing well..

Tequila met Jack... not the best meeting  for the poor boy... being that she is totally crazy... but it worked for a while..

First pictures of Lily in her new home..

Nefertiti kittens are growing well now.... the are really chunks pictures next week.... also Mick's babies one more injection to go and off they go.

We started on the boys outside runs. it was a day when all went wrong but we got them up eventually... had some friends over for the weekend.... so we did hill a while... Amber has gone off to Nicolien for a couple of days.... Back to Work Monday!!!

The main pest of the day below photos Wasps.... who would not leave us alone Amber got stung on her arm... thankfully they left me alone...

5th Augustus 2008

Managed to get Amber on the roof to clean the gutters..... she did well as she is very scared of heights... but she seemed  to over come her fear... after a couple of attempts see more of the garden as its now coming on... I hurt my finger yesterday dont know how.... but kind of slowed us down a bit!!

Updated photos of Nefertiti kittens they are growing in to such fat butterball kittens... Nefertiti is a wonderful mum 

Also some photos of  Mick's kittens ... who had some fun in the garden yesterday...while we where there that was until the ring leader..... "Tequila" took them around to the front garden... which of course lost the all their freedom!!!.

During the day they spend their time in their play pen... which is a huge 3 tier pen made for Rabbits.... which they love it all plastic with wooden ramps and we spend hours watching them shoot up and down the ramps at rocket speed...

Amber.... hates spiders.... and so do I, we have become accustomed to having them around now due to the fact the we live on the edge of the forest, and they love to come in to the basement, known as a keller here... but sometimes they just have to go.... and this guy... might bring his family with him and there is not enough room for all of us.. so Amber took a picture of him before he exited this world forever.... I stayed upstairs safe watching Television... well Bones was on!!!
